No matter what anyone says - Men and Women are DIFFERENT!

Here we take a light-hearted, often humorous look at the many physical, emotional and psychological differences between men and women.

We explore basic masculine and feminine traits, look at mis-communication between the sexes and try to understand, accommodate and work with our differences in order to experience harmonious relationships (whilst owning our own power) in every area of our lives.

Manage Your Stress

What is Stress?

We all suffer from it, often blaming other people or 'life' for our stress. Yes - what goes on around us does affect us but much of our stress responses can be prevented by recognising our stressors and changing our 'learned' responses.

By identifying our personality types and looking at what specifically causes our personal anxiety and stress, we can then investigate ways of preventing and/or dealing with our stressors, using various techniques.

Understanding & Overcoming Fear

Whatever is not working in our life FEAR is probably at the root of the problem.

Here we explore our own personal fears and look at strategies to overcome them. We aim to learn that our underlying fear is probably that, when faced with something we have never done before, we think 'we can't handle it'. Once we realise that we are perfectly capable of handling any situation we can perceive life in a different way.

Things we believe and many of our behaviours were 'learned' in our early childhood from observing those around us.

We aim to look at our individual beliefs and habits that do not serve us and find ways to heal any pain or grief we are holding onto. We can then let go of our old habits and blocks and find ways to work towards achieving our dreams.

Strategies to Make Your Life Work

"If we always do what we've always done, we'll always get what we always got"

We can bemoan the fact that our lives are not as we would like them to be until the cows come home, but nothing will change unless we make a positive effort to 'really' look at our lives and instead of dwelling on what we 'don't like about our lives, we can concentrate on how we would 'like' our lives to be.

Here we can look at which part(s) of our life don't work, analyse what we 'really' want from life and work out strategies for achieving our desires.

Building Self Esteem

We were born 'perfect' fo rthe life before us but something along the line we have received messages that have led us to believe that we are 'not good enough'.

In this training we can look at these 'false' messages and replace them with positive, self-motivating statements that will help us to see our own potential, set new goals and work towards fulfilling tasks we always thought were beyond us.

Prioritising / Time Management

We often waste much of our time and energy worrying about the things we don't have time to do!

This training helps us to look at every area of our life, and how much time we allocate to each part. Often we don't meet our deadlines because we failed to spend time 're-charging our batteries' (all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy) or we set ourselves impossible tasks and drain our energy reserves worrying about impending failure (again!). Here we can allocate 'sensible' time-scales to our top priorities, balance our energy and find that, once we have a clear idea of what needs doing and how much we can realistically achieve, we seem to have more time and energy!

Effective Communication & Rapport

It's so much easier to get things done when we 'get on' with the people we have to work with.

By learning the skills of good rapport, observation and being flexible enough to understand and establish a mutual communication style, we can greatly increase our ability to succeed in every area of our life.

Beginners T.A. (Transactional Analysis)

Our interactions with others can be a bit like playing a 'game' sometimes. Learn the rules of the game, decide whether you want to play and get a head start on everyone else.

We often get into uncomfortable bonding patterns with people and get 'pushed' into playing roles which are ultimately of benefit to no-one. Learn to recognise other's role playing and how to use it to your advantage. We can always choose to either 'play the game' or channel our energies into something more rewarding.

Chakras (What are they and How do they work?)

Chakras are energy centres within our body in alignment with the spine. When these energy centres are in balance we are healthy and our life 'works'. When these energy centres are out of balance or are 'blocked' we can manifest negative symptoms, physically and emotionally.

Here we look at what each chakra represents and how the chakras work in conjunction with each other. We also look at yoga exercises recommended for re-balancing each chakra.

Metaphysics - Mind Body and Soul Connection

Modern medicine limits itself to dealing with the physical body only, treating symptoms with man made chemical drugs and/or surgery and ignoring the part the mind and soul play.

Metaphysics teaches that the mind, body, emotions and soul cannot be separated and that physical symptoms can only be truly healed when all four aspects of the whole person (holistic) are dealt with together.

We look at how the three are connected, how imbalance between them can occur. We can track our own (or someone else's) life's symptoms to gain a picture of where imbalances may lie, look at any emotional patterns we/they may have been running and what the symptoms mean. Once we have this information, we can choose to work on our negative emotions and physical imbalances to restore balance and good health.

PRIVATE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

All personal development work can be undertaken on a one-to-one, couples, small groups basis.
Sessions from a minimum of 1.5 hours, half day, whole day/2 days.
Charges:  £30 per hour – whole day £100 – 2 consecutive days £180

CORPORATE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT TRAINING

The above titles will give you an idea of the type of subjects covered.

Bespoke training packages can be provided based on client requirements for half/full/ multiple day s training, over time periods of client's choice.
